Camels were one of the means of transportation in the Holy Land. If you recall, the three wise men of Babylon used them in their travel to Bethlehem to witness the birth of Jesus Christ. They are ever since a symbol of the little town of Bethlehem.
The olive wood hand carving of these camels is made in the same city that received the three Wise Mmen two thousand years ago.The height of the camels is (from head to floor) about 9 inches. You can choose the one with a jug on each side or the one without jugs. Click on the photo to see enlarged image.
